Space Optics Systems was founded in 2013 by Mirsad Sarajlic. A curious engineer in microtechnics who wanted some new challenges and projects in his life. He created the company through the name of Swiss Optics Systems. The goal of SOS was to put consultancy services at customer dispositions in particular in optomechanical designs.
The SPIE Astronomical Telescopes+ Instrumentation conference is one of the major event for instrumentation and optics where scientists, engineers and industry leaders from all the world gather to discuss the latests developments and progress in this field. This year, the conference was held in June 2024 in Yokohama, Japan. Space Optics Systems had the chance to highlight its Light Distrubtion System which was on display as part of an interactive demonstration. The demo highlighted with which ease the LiDiMo can be connected together and quickly operational for many types of experiments.
