The Light Distribution System (LDS)

Is the highly flexible novel system developed by Space Optics Systemsto merge, split or guide light from various fibered sourcesinto single or multiple simultaneous outputs. The LDS is particularly adapted for calibration usage on ground telescopes and for optical laboratories.

How it works

The LDS is based on Light Distribution Modules (LiDiMo). Depending on the number of different sources and combinations possibilities, the LiDiMo can be easily connected together to create a custom, scalable and dedicated solution for each scenario.The Light Distribution Module offers high stable and repeatable optical positioning solution.LiDiMo is based on pneumatic actuator allowing ultra fast and precise optical movements.
